Creating Routes
Overview
Creating a route involves selecting a destination and choosing how you would like the
route calculated. Once this is done, the Magellan RoadMate will calculate the route using
the guidelines you provide and displays the Map screen with information guiding you to
your destination.
Detailed map routing: The Magellan RoadMate can only provide routing information for
detailed maps that are loaded on the SD Card. The detailed maps loaded on your SD Card
can cover one or several countries. It is not possible to be guided from and to an address
that doesn’t belong to the detailed maps that are loaded on your SD Card.
When your SD card is loaded with detailed maps for several countries, you must make
sure that the approriate Country of Destination has been selected before you start
searching for an address or a POI.
Creating a route to a street address
